Ben Elliott has been at Warner Bros. Games long enough to remember bringing in the first guest character to Mortal Kombat (Freddy!).

As the company has evolved over the years, Ben, the VP of Business Development and Licensing, is often asked what has changed but he prefers to focus on what hasn’t: “the best-in-class brands and storytelling opportunities.”

“It’s all about the brands and Warner Bros. Discovery has the best in the business,” he says. “What’s really great is the flexibility within the IP to accommodate different storylines, genres and art styles. You dream it and we can make it happen.”

With current partners spanning across some of the biggest names in the industry, Ben and his team continue this work as they collaborate with best-in-class developers & publishers to bring to life the characters and stories from fan-favorite franchises.

So what’s next? He made it clear that there was much more to come. In fact, he says, “I like to believe my fondest memory of the work I’ve done here has yet to happen.”
