What sparked your interest in accounting and controllership?
I’ve always been curious about how things really work behind the scenes. Accounting gave me that clarity — it’s like understanding the language of a business. Over time, I realized that controllership is not just about numbers, but about building trust, ensuring accuracy, and enabling decisions. That mix of structure and impact is what truly drew me in.

Tell us about a moment that shaped your career.
A pivotal moment in my career was when Warner Bros. Discovery gave me the opportunity to relocate from Buenos Aires to Mexico City. It wasn’t just a professional move — it was a personal leap of faith. Adapting to a new country, a different culture, and a new way of working challenged me in ways I hadn’t experienced before. A year later, being promoted in that context made it even more meaningful — it felt like a strong vote of confidence and a reflection of that journey.

What’s a recent challenge you overcame?
One of the biggest challenges has been learning to navigate and lead within a country’s culture that is different from my own. It pushed me to become more adaptable, more empathetic, and more intentional in how I communicate and build relationships. At the same time, balancing that with high-demand projects required a lot of focus and resilience — but it ultimately made me a stronger leader.

How is your team contributing to WBD Mexico’s goals?
Our team plays a key role in creating a solid financial foundation for the business. We ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency, but beyond that, we act as partners to other teams — supporting decision-making, improving processes, and helping the organization move forward with confidence.

How has your team supported your growth?
My team has been essential to my growth. We’ve built a space of trust, collaboration, and continuous feedback. Leading a team while also learning from them every day has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

What trends excite you right now in your field?
I’m really excited about how technology is reshaping accounting procedures. Automation, data analytics, and system-driven processes are transforming the way we work, allowing us to move beyond manual tasks and focus more on analysis, controls, and value creation. It’s an exciting moment to be in controllership, as the function continues to evolve into a more strategic role.

What surprised you most about the culture here?
What surprised me the most was how open and collaborative the environment is. Even in a large and complex organization, people are willing to support each other and work as one team. That made a big difference for me, especially while adapting to a new country.

What do you appreciate most about working at WBD Mexico?
I really appreciate the combination of growth and challenge. It’s an environment that constantly pushes you out of your comfort zone, but in a way that helps you evolve — both professionally and personally.
