Meet Kevin Noel as he shares about his time at Warner Bros. Discovery, and how he brings exciting design concepts to life at retail as part of the Consumer Products team in London. Kevin also shares his thoughts on Black History Month, celebrated throughout the month of October in the UK.

What is your name and title?

My name is Kevin Noel - I am an Art Director of Retail and Branding within Consumer Products.

How long have you been with Warner Bros. Discovery?
I am proud to say I have been with Warner Bros. Discovery, including the legacy, for over 15 years.

How would you explain what you do to a five-year old?
I would explain my job to a five-year old by saying; I create cool designs with Looney Tunes, DC characters and Harry Potter, to be displayed within toys, clothes and foot stores.

What's the most interesting part of your job?
The most interesting part of my job is not knowing what design brief I will be given as I work on different and interesting design projects every week.

What has been your favorite project in your role at Warner Bros. Discovery?
I designed and coordinated the themed "Harry Potter - Back to Hogwarts" shop-in-stores within Primark London, Dublin, Manchester and Boston. Each store was created slightly different due to the store layout and store structure. My favourite Harry Potter themed store was Oxford St., as it boasts of hanging Hogwarts envelopes, The Great Hall-style arches, large crafted wooden retail diplay units, reclaimed vintage stacked suitcases, vintage style books and sourced Harry Potter-esque trophies. This was a great retail success story as the stop-in-shop displays stood within Primark for over 4 years and it was originally designed to be within Primark for 6 to 9 months.

What or who has had the biggest influence on your career?
My wide and kids give me love, drive, motivation, and support so I would say they are the biggest influence on my career.

What is your favourite Warner Bros. Discovery show or movie and why?
There are many Warner Bros. Discovery shows and movies I enjoy watching, but one that stands out for me is "The Watchmen" series, as it is great to see a "kick-ass" strong Black female character leading the role.

Tell us about something interesting you do in your free time?
I collect vintage and modern luxury watches and "geek out" learning the mechanical parts and history behind iconic timepieces.

What does celebrating Black History Month mean to you personally?
Black History Month is a monthly acknowledgment of how far Black people have come and how far we have to continue with our journey for equal opportunities.
