As a part of our Black History Month celebrations, we’re shining a light on members of the WBD community; their impact on and contributions to our workplace, our industry, and our world at large. First up is Torrence Wilson, writer/producer at WBD Sports, who shares the very personal significance of a professional project.

“In 2020, the Negro Leagues celebrated their 100th year anniversary. To honor the Negro Leagues, I was able to produce a documentary on the Negro Leagues titled ‘Field of Dreams Deferred,’ which aired during our Major League Baseball playoff coverage. That moment was important to me because it told the story and honored so many that played the game of baseball in this league, like my father.”
