By participating in the WarnerMedia TikTok Challenge, you may be afforded the opportunity to meet with one of our talented University Relations Recruiters to discuss YOUR STORY and to learn how you can use your experiences to your advantage when applying to internships, both at WarnerMedia and elsewhere!
WHO YOU ARE
You’re a US college student with a passion for the Entertainment and Media Industry. You are excited to bring the skills you’ve learnt in your past internships or jobs to WarnerMedia. Your friends describe you as a self-motivated accountable individual with the ability to understand and engage in complex projects/assignments. You are comfortable working in an environment that is ever changing and are willing to roll up your sleeves to “get your hands dirty”. You thrive on a team, have a passion for story telling and are comfortable chiming in with commentary but also willing to listen and learn. You probably spend your free time obsessing over HBO Max, DC Comics, Cartoon Network, Bleacher Report, CNN, and other WarnerMedia Brands.

- TikTok – FUN! Resumes – Not so fun. Now TikTok Resumes – CAREER CHANGING! We want you to make a TikTok Resume video (< 60 seconds) answering: “Why should WarnerMedia consider you for a Summer 2022 internship?” Instead of writing a resume, SHOW/TELL us your resume. What internships have you had in the past? What is your major? What extracurriculars are you involved in? Think: Resume with a TikTok twist! Be creative! Have fun!
- Use the following hashtags: #TikTokResumes, #CareerConversations, #Shapewhatsnext
- Only one submission per account. If multiple submissions are made, they all will be voided.
- Fill out the form. Make sure you include a link to your TikTok. Submit no later than Monday December 20th, 2021 at 11:59pm PDT.
SELECTION OF CAREER DEVELOPMENT MEETING PARTICIPANTS
- The University Relations Team will assess submissions based on participant’s skills and creativity in answering the prompt “Why should WarnerMedia consider you for a Summer 2022 internship?”
- The Participants selected for the Career Development Meeting will be notified via email by Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 5:00pm.
- Neither likes nor views will be taken under consideration.
- Only the first 250 submissions will be reviewed by the University Relations Recruiters.
- We are not liable if, per security setting, a selected participant does not receive the email inviting them to the Career Development Meeting.

THE LEGAL STUFF (EVERYONE'S FAVORITE!)
- Participating in this challenge is NOT a formal application to WarnerMedia Summer 2022 Internships. If you are not interested in entering the TikTok Resume Challenge, but are interested in Summer 2022 internships at WarnerMedia, please apply directly on the WarnerMedia Careers Site.
- Selected participants will receive more information regarding the next steps in applying for WarnerMedia Summer 2022 internships in their Career Development Meeting.
- Our lawyers told us that WarnerMedia reserves the right to offer one or more or even no participants a Career Development Meeting with a University Relations Recruiter. We hope that this conversation leads to an internship, but we cannot guarantee that either!
- Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States to participate in the WarnerMedia TikTok Resume Challenge.
- WarnerMedia summer 2022 interns must be currently enrolled in a US college degree program and not graduate prior to the Summer 2022 internship program.
- WarnerMedia Summer 2022 internship program dates are June - August; must be available for full a 10 week period.
- WarnerMedia's employees, its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, and directors (collectively the “Employees”), members of an Employees' immediate family and/or those living in the same household of Employees, and current interns are all ineligible to participate in the WarnerMedia TikTok Challenge.
- TikTok Resumes must be original content and not violate any external entity’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. Participants who violate this will be disqualified.
- Only one submission per account. If multiple submissions are made, they all will be voided.
- If hired for a WarnerMedia 2022 summer internship, you will be required to complete paperwork including a background check, Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9 form), and other very dull WarnerMedia essentials.
- Participants must be respectful of other participants and submissions. Any foul play or misconduct will lead to disqualification.
- This challenge hosted by WarnerMedia is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok.
- The videos of the participants chosen for Career Development Meeting will be posted on WarnerMedia’s TikTok account.
